Personal data collection and use
Information relating to your visit to this website will be recorded without collecting any personally identifiable information. The information will be used for the purposes of compiling statistical records, and maintaining and enhancing this website.

The HKDPB takes appropriate steps to protect personal data held by it against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use (which includes disclosure or transfer).
Access and correction
If you wish to request access to or correction of your personal data held by the HKDPB, please complete the “Data Access Request Form” specified by the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data and submit it to the Data Protection Officer of the HKDPB by post or by e-mail.

When handling a data access or correction request, the HKDPB will check the identity of the requestor to ensure that the person is legally entitled to make the data access or correction request. The HKDPB has the right to charge a fee for processing of any data access request.
